The Local Farmstead

We are a small local farm that is new to the CSA community but not new to the growing and sharing our crops with the community. 

My name is Danielle  and I am the woman behind our ever growing farm.  
As of right now I am a one woman show with my supportive husband playing a large role in the background helping me make my dreams reality. 

I take pride in the hard work I put into each and everyone of our crops. I use natural means for pest control such as companion planting, reusable barriers and good old fashion hand weeding.  

I DO NOT use pesticides, insecticides, or ANY harmful chemicals on or near our crops to ensure the safety of our beneficial insect friends. 

I plant beneficial flower varieties & crops each year to encourage these insects like bees, praying mantis’, spiders,  and lady bugs. 

I am not only a small business owner and farm lover, I also am a mother of two, Registered Nurse, and Navy Reserve Nurse.
