How we are cutting down on waste
Reusable Totes
It is really important to us to be able to reuse and cut down on any waste heading to our landfills and oceans.
You will recieve a grocery tote to be filled each week. At the end of your CSA shares you keep the tote to continue aiding in our initiative to cut down waste.
Any bags. baskets, containers, cartons, etc. given to you in your basket can be given back at any time by placing it in your tote during delivery weeks.
I will reuse what I can and recycle what I cannot for farm purposes.
Composting Initiative

Join the compost initiative on top of your “Share” investment. you will receive a 2 gallon bucket for you to place fruit and vegetable scraps in.
Each week place the filled bucket next to your empty (reusable) CSA Basket and we will remove the waste and give you a fresh clean bucket for the upcoming week.
Each bucket of compostable materials will be added to our farm pile! These scraps are broken down naturally over months using the pile method.
This creates a nutrient rich hummus that will be added to the garden soil to replenish essential nutrients and feed the seasons plants.
